Monsoon 2022: નવરાત્રિમાં ભારે વરસાદની આગાહી, જાણો કયાં કયાં રેડ એલર્ટ જાહેર કરવામાં આવ્યું છે?

The Meteorological Department had given information that many places in Maharashtra, including Mumbai, experienced scorching heat during the day.  This evening there is news of light rain with thunder in Ghatkopar, Vidyavihar, Lower Parel, Colaba etc. areas of Mumbai.

 On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has also indicated that after September 7, the natural factors that create a low pressure center in the Bay of Bengal are rotating.

Also, the factors that will create a rainy atmosphere with lightning, thunder, stormy winds are also taking shape in Maharashtra including Mumbai for the next four days.  Also, the day temperature in Mumbai is likely to rise to 33-34 degrees Celsius during the next 48 hours.


Today Colaba recorded a maximum temperature of 32.2 and a minimum temperature of 26.4 degree



s Celsius while Santa Cruz recorded a maximum temperature of 33.7 and a minimum temperature of 25.6 degrees Celsius.  Mumbaikars also experienced Baffara today as Colaba recorded 89-84 percent humidity while Santa Cruz recorded 85-88 percent humidity.

 Director General of Indian Meteorological Department Dr.  Mritunjay Mohapatra informed that after September 7, natural factors are creating low pressure in the Bay of Bengal.  If a low pressure develops, Bengal and Odisha are likely to experience heavy rainfall. Also, the low pressure situation is also likely to delay the departure process of Southwest Monsoon in September.

 Deputy Director General of Meteorological Department (Mumbai Center) Dr.  Jayant Sarkar had given information to Gujarat Samachar that the sky of Mumbai is now very clear, so the bright rays of the sun spread throughout the atmosphere.  As a result, one feels hot and flushed in the afternoon.  There is still a possibility of an increase in the maximum temperature of Mumbai during the next 48 hours.

At present, the effect of cyclonic circulation along with the low pressure belt is happening at a distance of 0.9 km in the sky above Lakshadweep and its nearby Arabian Sea. This effect has spread to Madhya Maharashtra through Konkan of Maharashtra.  Also, at present there is a cyclonic circulation effect at a distance of 3.1 km in Kutch and nearby skies.  Also, now the winds are blowing from the northeast instead of the southwest, so there is thunder.

 Thunderstorm with gusty winds over Central Maharashtra (Nashik, Jalgaon, Ahmednagar, Pune), Marathwada (Jalna, Beed, Parbhani, Nanded), Vidarbha (Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Nagpur, Wardha) for next four days (3rd to 6th September).  Rainy weather is likely to occur.
